With the support of the MRC and the Mobile Enterprise Growth Alliance (MEGA) we are running another Linkr multipath film making workshop! But this time it is going to be BIGGER and BETTER!
For those who do not know about the Linkr Workshop:
The workshop is a 3 weekend collaborative film making event.
Come on Saturdays to do some idea generation, script writing and storyboarding. We’ll give you a quick run through of the Multipath film making concept and help people form into groups, and maybe some small filming.
Sundays are production days for getting out there and doing some FILMING and editing. This is when we need the actors/actresses and film making crew.
The MRC is kindly providing access to two HD video cameras, lighting, sound equipment and a Final Cut pro edit suite. However bringing your own equipment is encouraged and equipment will be preferentially given to MRC members.
After the workshop will be a large public screening at the Mercury cinema to show the videos produced from the July and Feb Linkr workshops.
Whilst we are looking for people with filmmaking and script writing experience, those without it will be warmly welcomed and encouraged to take part, especially particpants from the previous workshop!
The workshop will require : Actors, artists, film makers, script writers, directors, producers, gaffa’s, musicians and sound engineers.
We are especially looking for 3 musicians or composers; One to be featured per weekend.
To express your interest in this amazing experience go to http://linkr.filmsonthefly.com/site/contact

Given the size of each of those events we’ll be uploading a post for each of them over the next few days.
Sunny, Michael and John are excited about the future of Films on the Fly and the future of the interactive film industry in South Australia!
We are proud to announce that Films on the Fly is working with 2moro mobile, to help launch an iPhone based DIY comic app called Zine-O-Tron.
The application has been built in conjunction with the Format Festival. The app will allow users to complete challenges by taking photos with their phone, add speech/thought bubbles and turn them into a comic strip, submit them to the net where everyone will be able to rate them.
Do you have an iPhone? Then email diy_comic@2omoro.com.au with your expression of interest and become a beta tester!
